Code Signing to be provided in as-a-service mode by 1st June 2023
From 1st June 2023, in accordance with CAB Forum guidelines, private keys for Code Signing certificates will be required to be stored on certified hardware.
To comply with this requirement, Actalis will generate the Code Signing keys on the CA's HSM, where the certificates will be installed.
To do this, Actalis is setting up a new cloud-based Code Signing service, provided automatically in the cloud, where you will no longer be required to generate a CSR, nor install the certificate on your systems.
The digital signature proving ownership of the code will be added directly to the executable files using a software tool, provided through official CA channels.
